This reminds me of Space Night, a TV programme that ran almost every night on the first german television. I was working night shifts that were mindnumbingly boring, and then there was space night. Footage of earth and space stuff, backed by very nice electronic ambient tracks. This would have fit perfectly in there. I found this song because i got the idea - but not the competence - to do a generative m8 track that one could use to meditate and such. Of course you did that already, and captivating as well!

great magic sound between ghost and whale in the deep ocean. I like this kind of bell sound which is accelerated by the LFO of neutron1 (the one which is down). I've seen the patch, very clever the go and back between the oscillators. You give the envy to have a second neutron. :^) Thanks for this vid.

what is the little stand you have for the m8?

The multiply parameter isnt the same thing as supersaw. The supersaw is 7 separate oscillators, the multiply parameter repeats the waveform of the oscillator per cycle, and gives you the new fundamental frequency that corresponds to the 7th harmonic above the note

how long did it take you to figure out how to cook up on that thing?

Cool tuto about sweep. I'd better understand why we can do With AttCV, it was a little strange to me. And the fun to have Mothra, the giant butterfly in a neutron, how cool is it.And how cool it sounds with delay and a lot of reverb. Thanks for this video. It's great to learn with your vids.

Thanks for this surprising patch. I follow the entire tuto, I must read many times the end part, MidiGate in S&H in Att1 CV, the idea killed me (but it's ok now). It's a great idea but ive needed time to understand it. Hope, 4 years later, that you go better now and that you're healed.

That's badass!! Great work all round. The snapshot mode is so powerful for live exploration. It's a huge part of what makes the Machinedrum and other Elektron gear really fun - the ability to save a good working state, completely fuck it up without worrying, then immediately reload it. It lends itself to a lot of fun tinkering, and it's amazing to see it here on the M8! Does the snapshot mode only work on the OMX-27?
